The real fun in National Elections!
The election process is a sacred and very serious process for any country, inasmuch as it is the process, whereby the leaders of a particular country are chosen, and it is a prelude for the direction setting or the management of the economic challenges by those to whom these concerns would be entrusted to. So why are the candidates and the people engaging in it as if it is a fun fair or a carnival? Well, it’s what the electorate or the market wants perhaps. A little joy and fun in seeing some live shows and actors/actresses the populace idolized. It seems normal in the midst of boredom to a sluggish economy, poverty and a bit slow economic performance in the light of problems in the western world, and domestically. The real “fun”, however will come after the election day, and when the winning candidates assume their posts for the country leadership seats. It will be shown and will be discussed daily nationally or maybe even worldwide for the next 5-6 years, how the winning candidates perform in their respective offices. For the moment, let’s just help enable an honest and peaceful elections, and get it done with or maybe just help keep it more interesting and successful despite the mudslinging and expose being done in the midst of the public.
